Prenatal care

Low-risk pregnancy care
At LewisGale Medical Center, our certified nurse-midwives offer expert care for women with low-risk pregnancies. From the moment you find out you’re pregnant to post-delivery, we take the extra steps to ensure you have a stress-free delivery.
Labor and delivery
We want your labor and delivery experience to be as rewarding as possible. Our state-of-the art suites support intimacy and bonding as you prepare to bring your little one into the world. We offer a calming, comfortable environment with one-on-one attention from your certified nurse-midwife. We care for you and your baby until you’re ready to leave the hospital. Our team offers postpartum care and more as you navigate your new journey as a parent.
Gynecologic exams
During well-woman visits, we perform a physical exam in addition to discussing any health concerns or questions which may include contraception, menopause symptoms, pre-pregnancy issues, and more.
